Greenline Wheels works to reinforce the values of the Oak Park River Forest community and contribute to its vibrancy by renting bikes and accessories, engaging with community partners of all types to support local commerce and tourism, promoting and expanding bike safety education, and promoting a more bicycle friendly community.

• We rent bikes and accessories by promoting them as a great way to slow down and live local; to tour and explore the area’s treasures; to get off the beaten path and have an adventure; to incorporate biking into a healthy lifestyle; and to commute economically and stress free.

• We teach and advocate for bike safety by facilitating in-school and out-of-school bike safety training for students; by promoting special needs adult cycling classes; and by offering free programming for seniors.

• We support a more bicycle friendly community by promoting existing bike networks and supporting their expansion; hosting advocacy events and raising awareness around relevant issues; supporting clubs and advocacy organizations; disseminating information; and by encouraging and facilitating riders of all ages and abilities to get out on a bike.

• We engage a broad range of community partners to achieve our goals – business partners, community partners, and social mission partners. These partners help us create programming, reach customers, raise awareness, and build identity.
