A total of six cemeteries are located here: Forest Home, German Waldheim. Concordia, Woodlawn, Jewish Waldheim, and Altenheim. While there are approximately 15,000 people living in Forest Park, more than thirty times that many people are buried there. Numerous local businesses also have connections to the funeral trade, from monument makers to saloons.
